| Wow, October 11,2006 man am I bad at writing in these things. I guess thats why I really didn't journalized when I was a kid. But anyways yes I am back, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth as some may have thought and me and my family (yes all four of us again) are going to Disneyland in exactly 32 days. And for those of you who can't quite count that far ahead into the future, April 15 I will be flying down to sunny California again in a mere seven months apart from the last visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Oh note to anyone who is going down to California, don't forget your sunscreen I burned really bad the first day we were down there last time and had to be in t-shirts all the rest of the week, it really sucked. Anyways, I decided to at least post something so you won't all think that I am dead. Bye for now. | | |
| Well its that time of year again, another year down the tubes. I will soon be 22, that is, its not really my birthday for another 7 hrs. And since nobody really remembers I am wishing myself a happy birthday. So now, if you were to tell me when I graduated high school or even college that I would be this well off at just 21, I would have laughed at you and said yeah right dream on. But, here I am none the less, its pretty cool. People in my department are taking me out for my birthday tomorrow. Since my birthday is so far away from everyone elses its nice to get a break this time of year. Well thats pretty much it, if you want to know about my trip to Disneyland call me or drop by so you can see the photos in person. | | |
| Well, since some of you think that I have dropped off the face of the earth here is an update. Sorry, for not making it out to Wings, 3.0 but since the last time I went I smashed up my car I didn't want to make it 2 for 2 with the rental. Anyways, an update on the car situation. If all goes to plan and there isn't too much wrong with the wheel alignment today, I hope to pick it up this afternoon or tomorrow. I hope that not much will be screwed up on it and that I can pay off the liability of the other car soon too, but let's hope its not too soon. Cause it would be nice to pay for it after I get back from Disneyland in September. Oh yeah for those of you who don't seem to know what my phone number is and call me up and ask how I am doing, I am going to Disneyland in the middle of September and taking my parents to (see something you have never seen before...) a.k.a. Mexico. It will be fun, and the second week off I am going to be preping the house for that dreaded word (winter). I will probably be painting Matt's room as well. Anyways, that's what is new in my life right now. | | |
| Well, it has offically been ten days since, my car accident. It seems fitting that I come out with it sooner or later. I was driving home rather late on a work night from my very first wings night. I was headed southbound on the Canyon Meadows off ramp when the car in front of me stopped suddenly for a stalled car at the bottom of the ramp. I was following too close and wasn't able to miss hitting the car in front of me.
Thankfully, the driver and passenger both didn't recieve any neck injuries and neither did I so. The best case senerio is that I pay off the damages to her vehicle and pay the increase in premium over the next five years and leave a whole lot more room between me and the other vehicles in front of me.
I only clipped the passenger side front panel and front passenger wheel in my car and clipped her rear drivers side bumper, lamp, and possibly the wheel. It could have been a lot worse then it sounds, there could have been more cars on MacLeod Trail when I went over the three lanes after hitting the car. I could have had a full head on collision, or totaled my car completely and then have to continue paying for it for the next four years, now that would have been the kicker. | | |
| Well, I haven't written in a while when I make it to the second page on the blogring. So who of you went to the Third Day concert besides the peeps I went with. Wow, what a concert, the holy spirit was totally in that place. Sitting 10' from the stage was also great. Thanks again Rachel for being my buddy at the concert. So if anyone is wondering, yes my meeting went well with Jay. He sat right beside me and it was just a nice casual breakfast, getting to know a bit of the company on a more personal level. | | |
